It’s been a while, so here we go. Tiff and I are currently watching ‘Love Alert’ and we cracked up so many times in the first episode. Hooking the both of us from the get go isn’t an easy feat, but this drama lured us in rather quickly.
Tiff and I scoured Viki to find our next podcast project. Don’t worry — we haven’t forgotten about 100 Days My Prince. We found a source to watch it, but we want to re-watch some episodes to refresh our memory.
Our next podcast project is Love Alert (aka Fluttering Warning), starring Yoon Eun Hye and Chun Jung Myung. We’ve had a lot of fun podcasting about a rom com, so we chose this one. It’s also Yoon Eun Hye’s small screen comeback. I’ve already watched a few episodes, so here’s what you need to know. There may be some spoilers, so please keep that in mind before you continue.
Love Alert is a story about Yoon Yoo Jung (Yoon Eun Hye) who is a top actress. After a scandalous event in which her drama co-star fesses up to using her and breaks up with her, Yoo Jung and her company are left to clean up the mess. Enter Cha Woo Hyun (Chun Jung Myung) who is a very successful dermatologist. He is also a chaebol heir that wants nothing to do with his greedy father.
When his father tries to drag him back into the company and set up an arranged marriage, Woo Hyun has had enough and decides to have a fake, contract relationship with Yoo Jung to restore her image and to get his father off his back.
And there we have it.
I’m excited to have Yoon Eun Hye back. While this has some similar vibes to Lie To Me, it seems different enough so far. Stay tuned for a podcast review of the first couple of episodes by the end of the weekend.
Until then, you can watch Love Alert on Viki. There are currently 8 episodes available. And there you have it. We’re currently watching ‘Love Alert’ and are always ready for suggestions.
If you like contract relationships, check out Yoon Eun Hye in Lie To Me. This drama was renowned for the Coca Cola kiss. There is also Marriage, Not Dating which had another fake relationship. To this day, I adore Joo Jang Mi and Gong Ki Tae something fierce. I wrote a recommendation of Marriage, Not Dating a few years back. This was one of the first k-dramas I ever watched while it was currently airing.
